Creating lasting value through disciplined real estate development, delivering thoughtful, sustainable projects that strengthen communities and stand the test of time.

Rooted in Land. Built for Longevity.
Colton Lee Communities is a Ventura County based real estate development firm focused on the acquisition, entitlement, and improvement of land throughout Southern California.
At our core, Colton Lee Communities is founded on the belief that great communities begin with great planning. Since day one, we’ve focused on identifying value, navigating entitlements, and delivering solutions that are as enduring as they are efficient.

From affordable senior apartments and transit-oriented developments to masterplanned communities, infill subdivisions, and commercial uses, our portfolio reflects a broad range of residential and mixed-use experience shaped by local context and long-term value.
What ties them together?
Timeless quality and thoughtful execution.

Our Story
We started with shovels - not silver spoons.

Over the years, our business has evolved in response to changes in the market and housing policy. In the early 2000s, we launched a homebuilding division to complement our development work. Following the Great Recession, we shifted our focus back to our core strength—land development and entitlements—delivering improved lots to regional and national builders. This focus allowed us to continue operating during a challenging period while laying the groundwork for future growth.
Since then, we’ve continued to focus on land development while expanding into areas where we saw unmet demand:
-
Colton Lee Construction – a licensed general contracting firm focused on modular and factory-built residential construction
-
Wealth Nest ADU – a turnkey ADU sales and installation company serving homeowners navigating California’s new accessory dwelling unit laws
Today, our team continues to take on projects ranging from small-lot infill to hillside subdivisions and post-fire rebuilding efforts. We work with public agencies, private landowners, and institutional partners to help deliver housing that is well-located, buildable, and aligned with long-term community needs.
